New Years Resolutions
We've all tried changing ourselves
using will power, (the conscious mind) with varying degrees of
success, but "New Years Resolutions" usually fade after a
matter of days. You forget, you find excuses, you feel irritated, so
you end up not doing it (or not stopping doing it, depending on your
resolution).
The Tip of the Iceberg
The reason why its so hard to change is
simple: your conscious mind makes up only 12% of your entire mind. It has the influence of the tip of the iceberg.
Hypnosis is a state of mind in which you are guided into a subconscious state similar to dreaming while remaining awake, (conscious) in order to change or reprogram the belief or behavioural habit which concerns you. Hypnotherapy has a long history, dating back to the Sleep Temples of ancient Greece, Egypt and India.

If you want the iceberg to change,
you have to talk nicely to the subconscious mind.
Kappasinian Hypnotherapy
A widely believed misconception is that
only certain people can be hypnotised. This was true of modern
hypnotherapy 100 years ago, but the work of Dr. John Kappas entitled
"The Model of Physical and Emotional Suggestibility and
Sexuality (affectionately "E and P") rendered the former
limitations outdated. Kappas developed a method of identifying the
behaviour of an individual, and hypnotising him or her according to
the E and P behavioural model. Kappas' success took the psychology
world by storm, and in 1968 he founded the Hypnosis Motivation
Institute (HMI). His methods continue to be practised around the
world, with 100% success rate in hypnotic induction.
Other uses of E and P
E and P is a model of understanding
human behaviour, and it can enrich your life in a variety of ways.
You can:
- Improve your relationships at home or at work
- Find the right relationship for you
- Improve your communication skills
- Re-connect with yourself and that which makes you passionate in life
Other Kappasinian Techniques
- The Mental Bank Program
- Self Hypnosis Training
- Dream Work
Advantages of Kappasinian Hypnotherapy
- Kappas' method is progressive, which makes it fast and effective because the solution (not the problem) is the subject of the hypnotic rehearsal.
- The faster progress means that the duration of therapy is relatively short (usually between 1 and 3 months).
- Kappasinian Hypnotherapy does not interfere with any medication, surgery, or healing modality. There is very little physiological difference between hypnosis and sleep, the only difference being that the person is aware while in hypnosis, much like a day-dream.
- The effect after the treatment is immediate. You will come out feeling confident, relaxed, and remembering everything that happened in the session.
